Back when I first started my agency, Video Power Marketing I was starting from scratch. I had just quit my job, I had 0 YouTube Views, 0 People on my email list and 0 customers. (We have to start somewhere right)
I did have the work experience, marketing skill set and two actual client case studies that showed great results.
I needed a way to show the value I could provide to a specific type of audience. So I created some video ads, built out some YouTube ad campaigns, put in my credit card details and started running ads to a free video marketing course I created.
It was challenging because I had to spend my own money to see if this thing was going to work.
To add to the stress I had mortgage and hospital bills to pay from my first child being born. This had to work.
Over the next couple of months my YouTube views went up.
People watched the ads and joined my email list. Then they purchased my course. It was working.
Many people who purchased the course asked them if we could build their campaigns for them.
I eventually started getting invited to speak at conferences across the country teaching people about the power of YouTube Ads.
